Narrative
Rodin’s thinker is the source of inspiration for this work. Rodin undoubtedly had very deep thoughts about this. My image is about a woman who intuitively incubates the riddle of Columbus’ egg. Columbus asked his sailors to try and make an egg stand upright on its convex side. They tried their very best, but the egg kept rolling on its side. Then Columbus showed how it could be done. He picked up the egg and set it firmly on the table. Three small cracks kept the egg in balance.
